Nanikas Beauty

The challenge

A beauty webshop competes on presentation and trust. Nanikas Beauty sells skincare, make-up, hair care and fragrance to a diverse audience and wanted a shop that looks modern, works in several languages and can be adjusted by the team itself whenever a new campaign or brand arrives, without needing a developer. The shop also had to work smoothly on mobile, because customers increasingly shop on their phones.

The solution

We built a multilingual webshop in Dutch, English and Arabic, including right-to-left layout for Arabic. The homepage is set up as a series of flexible building blocks: category bubbles, campaign cards, product sliders for new arrivals and bestsellers, and a brand bar. All of these blocks can be edited from the admin panel, which is also fully translated, so the team can work in its own language. Customers check out securely through Mollie, and reviews can only be left by buyers who actually ordered the product, which keeps the ratings honest.

Key features

• Webshop in Dutch, English and Arabic with right-to-left support
• Categories for skincare, make-up, hair, fragrance, bath and body, men and accessories
• Homepage with category bubbles, campaign cards, product sliders and a brand bar
• All homepage blocks editable from the admin panel
• Secure checkout through Mollie
• Reviews only from verified buyers
• Customer account with order history, wishlist and product comparison
• Newsletter sign-up and a blog with beauty tips

Technology

The shop is built on Laravel with SDCommerce as its e-commerce foundation, extended with custom homepage blocks and a fully translated admin panel. Payments run through Mollie, and the product catalogue, categories and brands are managed centrally.

Result

Nanikas Beauty now has a professional webshop that serves customers in three languages. The team updates campaigns, sliders and brands itself, customers pay with the methods they know, and the review system builds trust because every review comes from a real buyer. New products and brands go online quickly, in all three languages at once.
