We are a Dutch web agency from Haarlem and already work for clients in Belgium and Germany. We collaborate online, in your language, and visit in person when needed.
A website for Belgium is slightly different from one for the Netherlands. In Flanders you address customers in Dutch, in Brussels often in French and Dutch, and many businesses also have English- or Arabic-speaking customers.
Payments differ too: Belgians mostly pay with Bancontact, while Dutch customers are used to iDEAL. And when you sell in Belgium, you usually ship with bpost. We build your website or webshop with all of those details set up correctly from the start.

Belgian customers drop off when they cannot pay with Bancontact. Through Mollie we offer Bancontact alongside iDEAL for your Dutch customers, credit cards, Apple Pay and payment buttons from Belgian banks. You see all payments clearly in your admin panel.
For shipping, we connect your webshop to bpost, and where needed to PostNL or DHL for parcels to the Netherlands. You create labels straight from your orders and your customer automatically receives a tracking link.
As a Belgian company you have an enterprise number from the KBO/BCE register, which also forms your VAT number. We make sure those details appear in the right places and that your webshop shows VAT correctly on invoices. For tax or legal questions we refer you to your accountant.
Belgian customers trust a .be address more readily. We register or transfer your .be domain, set up business email and provide SSL. If you also sell in the Netherlands, a .nl domain can point to the same webshop.
In Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent and Liège, many Arabic-speaking entrepreneurs run a shop, restaurant, salon or wholesale business. They prefer to discuss their plans in their own language, but want a website that convinces Flemish and French-speaking customers.
With Smart Design you can go through the whole project in Arabic: from the first conversation to the walkthrough of your admin panel. Your website appears in Dutch and French for the local market, and in Arabic for your own community.
