The challenge

Dkhoni brings original oriental perfumes to customers across Europe. The brand has a broad collection, from men's and women's fragrances to unisex perfumes, gift sets and its own lines such as the Dkhoon and Al Hilal collections, and an audience that speaks Dutch, English, German or Arabic. Dkhoni wanted a webshop that conveys the brand experience, describes every perfume clearly and handles orders from different European countries smoothly.

The solution

We built a multilingual webshop in Dutch, English, German and Arabic, with full right-to-left layout for Arabic. The collection is organised into clear categories: men, women, unisex, gift sets, gifts for him and for her, best sellers and the various perfume collections, complemented by a jewellery collection. Every product page describes the fragrance notes of the perfume, so customers can make a confident choice online. The homepage features highlighted collections and a section in which well-known faces present their favourite scent. Customers check out securely through Mollie, can create an account and get in touch through the contact page or WhatsApp. Business customers can sign up for wholesale through the site.

Technology

The shop runs on Laravel with FleetCart as its e-commerce foundation, extended with four language versions and right-to-left support for Arabic. Payments run through Mollie, and products, collections, translations and orders are managed from one admin panel. The design is fully responsive, so the shop works just as well on a phone as on a computer.

Result

Dkhoni now has a professional webshop that lets the brand serve customers across Europe in their own language. Customers explore the collections, read which notes a perfume has and order securely online, while the team updates products, collections and promotions itself without technical help.
