Taxi Purmerland is a taxi company that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in Purmerend and the rest of North Holland, covering airport transfers to Schiphol and Rotterdam The Hague Airport, hotel and business transport, and trips across the Netherlands and beyond. In this market, customers usually book on their phone and choose the company they find first and can reach most easily. Taxi Purmerland therefore wanted to be found easily in the region and to receive rides directly, without intermediaries.
We built a fast, eye-catching website in the company's black-and-yellow brand style, with a clear booking form. Customers enter their name, email and phone number, together with the pick-up and drop-off address and the details of the trip. Every request is stored in the admin panel and forwarded by email, and the customer automatically receives a confirmation. A simple maths question keeps spam out.
Besides the form, customers can call directly or send a WhatsApp message through the floating button. The website is available in Dutch and Arabic. Through its own admin panel, Taxi Purmerland updates services, pages, photos and settings itself.
The site is built in PHP with Tailwind CSS and a lightweight SQLite database, without heavy frameworks. That makes it load lightning fast, including on mobile. SEO settings, sitemap, robots.txt and Schema.org data are built in, and Google Analytics can be connected from the admin panel.
Taxi Purmerland now receives ride requests directly through its own website, with all the details needed to plan the trip. Customers book in a few steps on their phone, or call and message with a single tap.
