The challenge

Rslan Bouwbedrijf in Haarlem specialises in building and renovating bathrooms, from tiling and natural stone to plumbing and plastering. Potential customers want to see quickly what the company can do, look at examples of previous work and request a quote easily. The company also wanted to address Arabic-speaking customers in their own language and be able to update the website itself.

The solution

We built a bilingual website in Dutch and Arabic, with right-to-left layout for Arabic. Each service has its own page: tiling, marble, natural stone, mosaics, garden tiles, floor levelling, plumbing and plastering. A gallery shows completed projects, and customer reviews are displayed on the homepage. The quote form is tailored to the company's work: visitors indicate whether it concerns a bathroom, kitchen, living room or something else, select the work they need and describe their project. A simple sum keeps spam out. Customers can also call, email or send a WhatsApp message directly. Behind the site there is a custom CMS in which the company manages services, pages, the gallery, incoming requests, SEO and settings.

Technology

The website is built in lightweight PHP with an SQLite database, so no separate database server is needed. The design uses Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js. Requests are stored in the admin panel and also sent by email, and the CMS offers a media library and a maintenance mode.

Result

Rslan Bouwbedrijf now has a professional online showcase that reflects the company's craftsmanship. Customers in Haarlem and the surrounding area see at a glance which work the company carries out, look at previous projects and request a quote in a few steps, and the company updates its services and photos itself.
