The challenge

Layali Stars organises Arabic concerts with tables and fixed seats. Taking bookings by phone and WhatsApp is a lot of work: who sits where, who has already paid and who still owes money at the door? Visitors also want to choose their own seat and be certain of their ticket straight away.

The solution

We built a dedicated ticketing platform. For each concert the organiser draws the hall with its tables and chairs and links ticket types and prices to it. Visitors pick their chairs on a floor plan, pay online and receive their tickets with a QR code by e-mail. At the door, the team scans the tickets with a phone.

• Hall plan with tables and chairs in 2D and 3D, drawn in the admin panel

• Pay in full or with a deposit, with the rest paid later or at the door
• Online payment through Mollie, with chairs held temporarily during payment
• QR tickets by e-mail and a door scanner using the phone camera

• Admin panel with statistics, orders and a cash overview per concert
• Website in Arabic, Dutch and English, installable as an app

Technology

The API runs on Laravel with MySQL; the website and admin panel are built with React and Tailwind CSS. The 3D hall is made with Three.js. Payments run through Mollie, and the QR codes are created and checked by the platform itself.

Result

Layali Stars now sells tickets through its own platform, without paying commission to a ticket agency. The organiser sees who sits where and what is still outstanding for each concert, and at the door it is immediately clear whether a ticket is valid.
