The challenge

Jan Transport B.V. from Zaandam specialises in delivering parcels for large courier companies such as DHL, PostNL, GLS and DPD throughout the Netherlands. The company has two audiences online: courier companies looking for a reliable delivery partner, and drivers who want to work for such a partner. Both groups had to recognise quickly on the same website what Jan Transport means for them, and for drivers, applying had to be as simple as possible.

The solution

We built a business website in WordPress with Elementor, with a clear message: the reliable delivery partner for large courier companies. The homepage explains which carriers the company works for, introduces the managing director and sets out why courier companies choose Jan Transport, such as speed, close tracking of every shipment and strict adherence to deadlines.

The homepage also has a dedicated section for drivers. It lists what the company offers them: steady work with major delivery services, training and daily support, clear working hours and on-time payment, ready-to-drive vehicles and flexible shifts. A clear call to action leads to the application page, with a form where candidates enter their name, phone number, email address and place of residence, choose the days they can work and state their type of driving licence. The contact page has a separate form for general questions, along with phone, email and the office address with a link to the location.

Technology

The website runs on WordPress with Elementor and ElementsKit for building the pages. The application and contact forms are made with MetForm, so submissions arrive in a structured way. The design is responsive, so drivers can easily apply from their phone.

Result

Jan Transport B.V. now has one website that serves two goals: it presents the company professionally to courier companies and actively recruits new drivers. Applications arrive with exactly the details needed to schedule a candidate, such as availability and driving licence. That means less back-and-forth when recruiting drivers.
