A new custom-built website for Zaandam contractor Bouwgroep Alrefai, with its own admin panel, a page for every service, a projects page and a quote request.
Visit website
Bouwgroep Alrefai is a renovation and building contractor in Zaandam: bathrooms and kitchens, extensions, plastering, painting and handmade ornaments. The previous website ran on WordPress with a page builder. The company wanted a faster site it can update itself, and one that is found more easily for each service in and around Zaandam.
We rebuilt the website from scratch as a custom application: a lightweight PHP site with its own admin panel, without WordPress or plug-ins. Every service has its own page with an explanation and photos, aimed at searches in Zaandam. Visitors can request a quote straight away or get in touch by phone or WhatsApp.
The site is built in PHP with SQLite as its database, Tailwind CSS for the design and Alpine.js for interaction. There is no WordPress, page builder or plug-in, which keeps the site fast and low-maintenance. The website is fully responsive.
Bouwgroep Alrefai now has a fast website of its own that the team keeps up to date, with a clear page for each service and a direct route to a quote.
